What video formats and file sizes can I upload to Sonilo?
Short answer
Sonilo accepts MP4, MOV and M4V video files up to 3 GB and 30 minutes long, on every plan. Video translation has its own, smaller limit of 400 MB and 5 minutes per video. Other formats, such as AVI, MKV or WebM, are refused, so convert them to MP4 first.
Video to music and video to sound effects
- Formats: MP4, MOV and M4V.
- File size: up to 3 GB on every plan.
- Length: up to 30 minutes on every plan. Your plan decides how much of the result you can download, not what you can upload; see how long your video can be on each plan.
- Shortest video: 5 seconds for music, 0.5 seconds for sound effects.
- Audio only files: a video tool needs a picture to watch. If you only have audio, describe the music you want with text to music instead.
Video translation
- Formats: MP4, MOV and M4V, the same as above.
- File size: up to 400 MB per video, on every plan.
- Length: up to 5 minutes per video, on every plan.
- Several at once: up to 10 videos in one go, each translated as its own task.
Audio tools
The vocal remover, acapella extractor and stem splitter take MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A and OGG songs as well as MP4, MOV and M4V videos. The background noise remover takes the same audio formats and videos. The music removal and volume tools take video only. See splitting a song and removing background noise for their length limits.
Uploading from Google Drive
