Does Sonilo do lip sync, and on which plans?
Short answer
Yes, Sonilo can redraw the speaker's mouth to match the new language when it translates a video. Lip sync comes with Pro and Premium on every translation. On Free, your first translation with lip sync is a free trial, and later ones can be made without lip sync.
On or off
- Lip sync on: mouths are redrawn to match the new language.
- Lip sync off: keeps your original picture and replaces only the voice. Mouths still move to the original language.
Either way, Sonilo keeps the speaker's own voice in the new language. Sonilo keeps the original background music and sound effects too, and replaces only the speech.
The switch is on by default when your plan includes lip sync or your trial is unused.
Which plans
| Plan | Lip sync |
|---|---|
| Free | One translation with lip sync as a free trial |
| Pro | Every translation |
| Premium | Every translation |
How the free trial is counted
- A finished translation with lip sync uses the trial.
- While one is still being made, it holds the trial, so a second one waits.
- If it fails, the trial comes back.
- Deleting a finished translation does not give the trial back.
Cost
Lip sync costs nothing extra: a translation is 50 credits per second for each language either way. See how credits are counted.
